SHINY HEADS TO LATIN AMERICA

The Shiny Awards launch their first-ever LATAM edition, expanding into Latin America and opening the platform to a wider community of emerging directors across the region.

This inaugural event is dedicated to spotlighting directors based in Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries across the Americas, creating new opportunities for work from the region to be seen by the global commercial production industry.

Hosted in Mexico City, the event will bring together local and international producers, creatives and agencies to discover new work and connect with the next generation of directing talent.

As with all Shiny events, diversity remains central, with at least 70% of the work screened coming from directors from under-represented backgrounds.

We’re inviting submissions from emerging directors working across:

* Commercials

* Music videos

* Documentary

* Animation

* Narrative

* Branded content, TikTok, trailers and more

ENTRY & ELIGIBILITY

Who can enter

* Directors must be based in Latin America (Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking countries across the Americas)

* Open to both signed and freelance directors

* Directors must not have directed commercial, brand or music video work with a budget over £€$50k
