The Shiny Awards return to London this summer, bringing together the commercial production community for an evening celebrating the most exciting emerging directing talent from around the world.

Hosted at Omnicom Production London, the event will welcome directors, producers and creatives for a night of bold short-form work, industry connection and recognition of the next generation of commercial filmmakers.

As with all Shiny events, diversity remains central, with at least 70% of the work screened coming from directors from under-represented backgrounds

We’re inviting submissions from emerging directors working across commercials, music videos, documentary, animation and narrative.

* All films must be under 5 minutes

* All genres welcome

* Work should demonstrate originality, craft and creative voice

Selected films will be screened to a jury of leading production companies, agencies and creative studios from across the Shiny network.
