”I'm delighted to have been selected for the Shiny Irish Showcase. I take great pride in my work being showcased alongside so many other amazing pieces, and it was also awesome to hear feedback from the judges.

Being selected definitely generated attention for both the piece I created, and also myself as a filmmaker. Posting online that I had been selected garnered some attention to the piece. Other contacts of mine also have now scheduled calls and meetings to catch up on the recent work I've been creating; which I believe has been aided from posting about the award.

At the event, I also networked and connected with producers, as well as other filmmakers. I'm looking forward to keeping in touch with them and seeing if we can link up in the future!”
