We are a creative production company with offices in New York, Los Angeles and London, and with honors including the Cannes Lions Palme d’Or, the YDA Producer of the Year Award, the AICP Production Company of the Year and the Emmy. Committed to integrity, grit, and no B.S., we have cultivated a unique and diverse creative culture of some of the most influential filmmakers from the worlds of advertising, film, tv and photography. Our pedigreed roster is curated and highly specialized, and we’re regarded for our Director Management. Our common thread is an unwavering commitment to an original story, a twist of perception, and making an impact. Chelsea is owned and managed by Lisa Mehling.
We are passionate about our directors and are proud of our track record, having discovered David Gordon Green, Lauren Greenfield, Alex Gibney, Nadav Kander and Nadia Hallgren and launched them to great success in the commercial world.

Diversity leadership

Chelsea is women-owned and one of the longest-standing production companies in the world.
As Shiny members, we are supporting free entries for Shiny’s education & training partners (Mama Youth, Brixton Finishing School, Creative Mentor Network, LSA, ELAM and universities & colleges worldwide).
Also as we are on the jury panel for the Shiny awards, we donate prizes to support new & diverse filmmakers.
