How do you describe your company?
PowerHouse is an end-to-end creative studio delivering premium film and stills projects for leading brands. Our ambitious, hands-on team specialises in developing strong creative concepts and executing productions across full-service or modular models, tailored to the needs of each project.
What’s attractive about your company from a new director’s point of view?
We operate with a creative-first mindset and actively seek out opportunities to engage with new and emerging directing talent. Time is dedicated each week to building relationships, reviewing work and developing connections with directors at all stages of their careers. Where possible, we champion emerging directors, creating space for new voices and ensuring diversity across our projects. Our approach is centred on thoughtful matchmaking, pairing directors with brands based on creative alignment, personality and shared ambition. We aim to create an environment where directors feel supported, collaborative and never isolated, while confidently presenting their true creative potential to clients. When a director has a strong idea or a passion for working with a specific brand, we actively help facilitate those connections and bring that vision to life.
Do you have diversity initiatives at your company? What are they?
We recognise the importance of fostering diversity and inclusion and are committed to learning, evolving and building meaningful initiatives as we grow. As part of this commitment, we are proud to be joining Shiny and to announce that PowerHouse will host Ireland’s first Shiny Showcase in Q2 2025. This event will invite and celebrate emerging creative talent from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives. We see this as the beginning of a long-term commitment to diversity, access and representation within both our company and the wider industry.
