We are the production arm of socially led creative agency We Are Social.

Why should new directors be interested in your company?
As we are the in-house production arm we predominantly always work with freelance/independent directors or directors who can be loaned out on our projects. We are always looking to work with new and upcoming directors.

As members, We Are Social help offset the cost of free entries for hard-to-reach filmmakers who Shiny access via Mama Youth, Brixton Finishing School, Creative Mentor Network, LSA & ELAM, and the cost of free entries we give to university & college students worldwide.
We Are Social also give their time on the Awards jury panels and donate Awards’ prizes.
How diverse is your directors contact book?
Have a HUGE contacts book which is pretty good on ethnic & gender diversity. Always want to add more diverse directors
Do you have a mentor, intern or director shadowing scheme?
We run mentoring schemes via BIMA as well as our team of producers have individual mentees they regularly meet with.

We have a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion and equal representation across all departments and levels of seniority.
Across the whole agency, 51% of our agency identify as women. 53% of the leadership team identify as women. LGBTQ+ representation in the agency stands at 16%. 20% of our team come from multi-ethnic backgrounds and 18% of our people are neurodiverse.
